PETALING JAYA, Mar 6 – The North Korean Ambassador Kang Chol, who has been declared as persona non grata by the Malaysian Government had left the embassy in Jalan Batai at 3.50pm today. Kang was given 48 hours to leave the country on March 4 until 6pm today. He quickly get up into his official vehicle and left with police escort which believed to be heading to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
At 2:15 pm, the vehicle carrying the goods believed to belong Kang Chol seen leaving the embassy premises also in the vehicle is an individual who is seen holding pasport and flights tickets. Kang Chol expected to be on a plane to Beijing at 6:40 this evening. Just before he left, the embassy staff could be seen loading luggage into the car. While Kang Chol left the buildings, reporters tried to run after his car but lost him after gain of speed.
