KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 21 – Hundreds of Samsung fans gathered here at Pavilion KL today for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note8 and the appearance of Korean celebrity, Song Ji-Hyo. Lines began as early as 7am. The first 100 customers to purchase the brand new Galaxy Note8 at the Pavilion (Kuala Lumpur) roadshow received a free Clear View Standing Cover autographed by the star herself at the event. Additionally, 22 of Song’s fans at the event were given a chance to come up on stage and take a selfie with her. 

Song Ji-Hyo made her debut in the horror movie Wishing Stairs in 2003. She is best known for her role as one of the regulars on the South Korean variety show, Running Man. The first 1,000 visitors to purchase the Galaxy Note8 during the four-day event will also receive a free Samsung Gear VR worth RM499 and free Samsung Screen Protection worth RM149 which allows for a one-time cracked screen replacement (excluding Service Fee).

There you could touch, feel, and experience the Note8 for yourself. The first 500 customers who purchase a the Galaxy Note8 at these two locations will also receive a free Samsung Gear VR and Samsung Screen Protection. The Galaxy Note8 is available in Malaysia from Sept 21, retailing at RM3,999. The phone is available in midnight Black, Orchid Grey, and Maple Gold.
