KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 – Malaysians are banned from travelling to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) until further notice due to escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula following Pyongyang’s missile tests, the Foreign Affairs Ministry announced today.

“This decision is taken in view of the escalation of tensions in the Korean peninsula and related developments arising from missile tests. The travel ban will be reviewed once the situation has returned to normal,” said Wisma Putra in statement. For further enquiries Malaysians can contact the Foreign ministry at +603 8000 8000 (office hours) or +603 8887 4570 (after office hours). — PN
