About 2,000 People Turned Up For USM Mid-Autumn Festival 2017 “A Glimpse in Time”

GEORGE TOWN, Oct 9 – USM Mid-Autumn Festival 2017 “A Glimpse in Time” cultural night opening ceremony was happened at Padang Kawad, USM Main Campus here yesterday evening with the present of Penang Port Commission Chairman Datuk Tan Teik Cheng.  Mid-Autumn Festival is a time when family and friends gather together to admire the full moon while savouring Moon Cakes, Chinese Tea and parading around with colourful Chinese Lantern.

Interesting and informative exhibition about the traditional culture of mid-autumn festival, handmade cubism arts, magnificent performances, fun & exciting games and artists from ntv 7 <The Men in Black School> and TV8 <Growth Behind the Sun> bring the event ended on a high note. This event was organized by Chinese Arts & Cultural Secretariat of USM. The event’s theme circles around the main motive of celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival: reunion, which will never fade even with time. — PN
