KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 1 – The opposition Pakatan Harapan said today it will use only one logo for the candidates of all its four component parties in the 14th General Election even if the Registrar of Societies does not register the pact.
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the pact would not go back on its word to use only one logo. “We agreed to use only one logo,” the Pagoh MP said at a press conference today.
So far, the pact had yet to decide which of the logos of the component parties – Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), DAP, PPBM and Parti Amanah Negara – would be used. Pakatan Harapan chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had announced that the pact would use only one logo in GE14. — Bernama
