‘When’s The Election?’



KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 5 – “When’s the election?”

This question was posed as Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak was leaving Parliament House after the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V, opened the first meeting of the sixth session of the 13th Parliament today. But the person who asked the question was Najib himself.

He put the question to a group of newsmen who approached him as he was walking out of the Banquet Hall accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, and heading to the car. The Prime Minister’s question left the reporters in stitches.

The Dewan Rakyat will sit for 20 days, up to April 5, and this is expected to be the last meeting before the 14th General Election is called. The Dewan Negara is scheduled to sit from April 16 to 30. — Bernama
