PETALING JAYA, May 12 – The Immigration Department have blacklisted former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak and his family from leaving the country.
This was confirmed by the department via postings on Facebook and Twitter at about 11.30am. In response to the latest posting by the Immigration authorities, Najib via a Tweet confirmed that he and his family had been barred from leaving the country.
“I have been informed that the Immigration Department of Malaysia does not allow me and my family to go abroad. I will respect the order from the department and my family and I will remain in the country,” he tweeted. — PN
