The 45th Pesta Hoki USM-Penang International was ended on High Note on December 2. KHT FORIZQ emerged as the champion of the Premier League in the 45th Pesta Hoki USM-Penang International. The hockey tournament was held in Universiti Sains Malaysia.

This is the 45th edition of Pesta Hoki USM-Penang International with the motto of ‘Believe in team, achieve the dreams’. This event lasted for 3 days and it was happening from 30th November to 2nd of December 2018. This year, Pesta Hoki USM-Penang International has attracted 300 teams for all categories, and teams are from local and foreign countries like Hong Kong, Pakistan, Thailand, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

The Champion of the Premier League is KHT FORIZQ. The winning team was entitled for a challenge trophy, RM2,000 cash, medals and prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle. The first runner-up of Premier League was SS OLD BOY.

PJ BLACK WIDOW was awarded the champion of the Classic Man Open Category. The winning team was entitled for a challenge trophy, RM1,200 cash, medals and prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle. The first runner-up of this category was CHINESE TAIPEI B.

USM JUNIOR was awarded the champion of the Women Open Category. The winning team was entitled for a challenge trophy, RM1,200 cash, medals and prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle. The first runner-up of this category was KAHAE LADIES.

USM A was awarded the champion of the Institute of Higher Learning Category (Men). The winning team was entitled for a challenge trophy, RM1,000 cash, medal and prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle. The first runner-up of this category was UTHM A. USM A defeated UTMH A with the score of 1-0.

USM ALPHA was awarded the champion of the Institute of Higher Learning Category (Women). The winning team was entitled for a challenge trophy, RM1,000 cash, medal and prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle. The first runner-up of this category was UNIMAP C. USM ALPHA defeated UNIMAP C with the score of 2-0.

TNB KILAT KL was awarded the champion of the Veteran Men Category. The winning team was entitled for a challenge trophy, RM800 cash, medal and prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle. The first runner-up and second runner-up of this category were IPOH LADS and OFA TVT KK USM VETERAN respectively. 

USM SUPER B4 was awarded the champion of the Junior Men Under-18 Category. The winning team was entitled a challenge trophy, RM800 cash, medal and prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle. The first runner-up of this category was RZ SEVEN JR. Meanwhile the Junior Women Under-18 champion was USM Junior and the Most Promising Player, Putri Nur Batrisyla Nur Nawawi, is from the team USM JUNIOR too.

As for Junior Boy’s Under-15 Category, KHT FORIZQ1 was the winner after a tight match with BUKIT BANDARAYA. The score was 1-0 with Mohd Amirul Hanif Mamat from KHT FORIZQ1 winning the Most Promising Player award.

BANGSARS GIRLS was awarded Champion for the category of Junior Girls’ Under-15 Category, Kirandeer Kaur from BANGSAR GIRLS has nabbed the Most Promising Player award and brought back the prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle and OBO.

NINE-10 KELATE won the Junior Boy’s Under-12 Category and was awarded as Champion whereas CATOR CUBS became the first runner-up. The champion received a challenge trophy, RM600 cash, medal and prizes sponsored by Milo, Nestle. For Junior Girls’ Under-12 category, the coveted title has been won by SRIKANDI THT against KLIA with the score of 2-1.
