KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 – The Ministry of Health (MOH) in a media statement issued on March 17, 2022 informed that vaccination slot reservations for individuals who have not received complete vaccinations, booster doses or children’s vaccinations, can be made through the link which is sent along with the appointment to the MySejahtera app.

Appointment links will be provided automatically at intervals set according to the type of vaccine. Since appointments in the MySejahtera system are sent automatically, there is a technical issue where the system has sent appointment links for booster doses to teenagers, i.e. those aged 17 and under. There were also adult individuals who had already received a booster dose, also receiving an appointment link for a booster dose.

It is currently the MOH’s policy to recommend that booster doses be given only to adults aged 18 years and above and no second or fourth booster doses are given to the public. Therefore, the following individuals are asked to ignore the appointment link namely:

  • Parents or guardians of teens 17 years of age and under who receive a booster dose appointment link for teens in care; and
  • Adult individuals who have received a booster dose but are still receiving a new appointment link.

If you have already made a booster dose appointment for your dependent or for the fourth dose via the link posted, please CANCEL the appointment and you will not need to attend the Vaccination Center (PPV).

PPVs have been informed of this and they will rule out adolescent attendance for the booster dose as well as individuals present for the second/fourth booster dose. The MySejahtera technical team is currently correcting this matter and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this technical issue.
