Chef Johari adds that this dish is uniquely prepared traditionally, the same way his grandfather used to do it. With a touch of his heirloom flavours, he pays homage to his family’s recipe through this dish.
You may give a try at Toasted Mussels in Persillade Style, although its toasted but it still maintained mild “Ocean” flavour. With the best combination with Nasi Hujan Panas, a special taste rice with the sauce Fish Curry with Lady’s Fingers. Penang-Born Executive Chef Chong Lih Chyi explains that his signature Penang Asam Laksa is a mandatory item for the buffet.
