BUKIT MERTAJAM, May 23 – All political parties, including Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) should work together to create political stability in the country, Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said. Muhyiddin, who is also Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president said political stability is vital for the country to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to him, it was time that all political parties sacrificed and set aside political differences to reset the nation. Political parties, no matter who, BN, PH, or PN, we must find a way together. There must be sacrifices. It’s better if we can cooperate. It isn’t easy, but that’s one way of resolving problems,” he told reporters after attending the Penang Gerakan open house here today.

The Pagoh MP also said that in other countries abroad, there was the Confidence and Supply Act (CSA) and this could be one of the solutions to create a stable government. This issue is big. It’s vital for all interested parties who are concerned for the nation’s interest to sit together and form a stable government,” he added. – BERNAMA
