KUALA LUMPUR, June 16 – All Public Transportation Services under RapidKL will be offering Free of Charge Ride for a month, starting from today said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in conjunction with the official opening of Phase 1 of the MRT Putrajaya Line this morning. This Free Ride is include commuters taking the MRT, LRT, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), Monorail or RapidKL Bus Services will not have to pay any fees.

I hope that Malaysians will take this opportunity to try these public transportation services, parking their vehicles at Park n Ride facilities, he said. Five years ago, the Kajang Line MRT was opened to 3 connect the Sungai Buloh area to Kajang, Selangor and the related rail network project is now being expanded and benefited by many residents of the Klang Valley.

The Putrajaya MRT line facility, for example, will continue to be a catalyst towards strengthening ties between the residents’ communities, especially those living close to the line.
