GEORGE TOWN, July 16 – Penang Bridge International Marathon (PBIM) 2022 reopens registration till 31 July 2022 in view of overwhelming public requests PBIM Chairman YB Yeh Soon Hin said that the Organising, Committee has decided to reopen the registration following the extensive requests raised by the public ever since closing the registration on its deadline on 30 June 2022. We thank the public for their continuous support.

After a long deliberation, we think its best for us to reopen, so the runners who didn’t register in time can make up to it in this reopening, “We know that PBIM to many local and international runners, is seen as a premier marathon event that holds a special place in their hearts, especially when they stand an opportunity to run across one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic bridges,” he said in a statement today.

According to Yeh, who is also the State Executive Councillor for Tourism and Creative Economy, the reopening applies to all categories at the same price, 42KM (RM 120); 21KM (RM 110); and 10KM (Open – RM 100 / Junior – RMTO) On top of that, he also encouraged runners to take full advantage of the free courier service provided, reducing the need for self-pick up of race kits. The reopening of PBIM 2022 registrations start today until 31 July 2022, 11.59pm.
