Established by the State Government of Penang since 2010, GTWHI has been tasked with Site Management of George Town Heritage City UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Together with Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP), and advisory bodies from Technical Review Panel (TRP), and the local communities, we have collectively worked in safeguarding both the tangible and living heritage of this city. We await more details from the authorities on this matter.
