KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 – Former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad praised the smoothness of the Mass Transit Transit (MRT) service on the Sungai Buloh and Putrajaya lines. Through a tweet on his Twitter, Dr Mahathir shared his experience riding the public service on the third Hari Raya, with his wife and friends. According to him, the MRT staff also accompanied them throughout the trip and gave him the opportunity to ask some questions about the MRT’s performance.
Dr Mahathir added, he seemed to be in a developed country after his journey was good, facilities were also available, the station was large and equipped with lifts and escalators. Strictly speaking, he believes that the facility will be welcomed by the people if the very high cost is ignored. “Congratulations to the Sungai Buloh / Putrajaya MRT management team,” he wrote.
