GEORGE TOWN, May 22 – The management of Kompleks Bukit Jambul hosted a grand Hari Raya Open House that saw the esteemed presence of Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak and his consort Toh Puan Khadijah Mohd Noor. The event, held at Kompleks Bukit Jambul, was attended by dignitaries and individuals from various walks of life, adding joy and merriment to the festive celebration.  Guests were treated to a delightful array of cultural performances, including the captivating boria dance, a mesmerizing catwalk show, and soulful singing performances.

As they enjoyed the festivities, attendees relished a sumptuous meal accompanied by traditional Hari Raya delicacies, truly immersing themselves in the spirit of the season.  In the spirit of giving, students from the Persekutuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Islam Pulau Pinang were presented with ‘duit Raya’ (festive money) and goodie bags, spreading joy and warmth among the younger members of the community.  The event was made possible through the commendable efforts of Kompleks Bukit Jambul Chairman Azmin Datuk Saduruddin and his dedicated team, who have organized this annual celebration in the special month.

Prominent figures in attendance included Datuk Abd Halim Hussain, the State Trade, Industry, and Entrepreneur Committee Chairman, Yeoh Soon Hin, the State Tourism and Creative Economy Committee Chairman, and A. Kumaresan, the Batu Uban Assemblyman. The Hari Raya Open House at Kompleks Bukit Jambul served as a platform for fostering unity and spreading festive cheer, providing an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to come together and celebrate the joyous occasion of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
