KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 – Nu Skin Malaysia, a leading provider of integrated beauty and wellness products, marked a significant milestone as it celebrated 20 years of philanthropy and community empowerment through its annual Force For Good Day. The commemorative event, held on Monday, showcased Nu Skin’s unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on local communities and nurturing the future generation. Force For Good Day has become an integral part of Nu Skin’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, embodying the company’s dedication to humanitarian efforts both locally and globally.

This special initiative brings together Nu Skin brand affiliates, employees, and their families to engage in meaningful local service projects that directly benefit at-risk children worldwide. Hendrix Wong, Vice President of Market Operations for Nu Skin Malaysia and Brunei, expressed the company’s mission, stating, “The Nu Skin Force For Good mission is to allow children to lead healthy and fulfilling lives, regardless of their educational and economic circumstances, offering hope for a brighter future. The idea of giving back to the community serves as a core value for us in who we are and what we do.

This culture not only provides innovative efforts that serve the community but also unites the Nu Skin family of brand affiliates, customers, and employees.” Locally, Force For Good Day aimed to expose children to new experiences and knowledge beyond the classroom. Nu Skin Malaysia, in collaboration with the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) Foundation and Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, invited 19 families who are beneficiaries of the Southeast Asia Children’s Heart Fund (SEACHF) for a day of educational fun at ToyEight @ The Gardens Mall in Kuala Lumpur.

As part of Nu Skin’s commitment to supporting the future generation, the educational outing included Child Development Screenings through interactive games. Parents received a developmental report that provided valuable insights and advice from developmental experts, evaluating five main domains: gross motor skills, fine motor skills, speech and language, cognitive development, and social/adaptive behavior. This detailed breakdown of their child’s performance allowed parents to better understand their child’s development and provide appropriate support and guidance.

The screenings were thoughtfully designed by ToyEight in partnership with University Malaya, Sunway University, certified clinical developmental psychologists, and renowned game developers. These assessments aimed to monitor children’s growth and development, enabling the provision of tailored support and guidance for parents. Additionally, parents had the opportunity to attend a parenting talk hosted by Sharifah Nur’ Addawiyah, a specialist in Special Education for children. The talk provided valuable insights on how parents could further support and nurture their child’s development.

To conclude the event, both parents and children were able to enjoy full access to the ToyEight Playground, which offered a range of interactive and educational play experiences suitable for children of all ages. This unique opportunity allowed families to strengthen their bonds while engaging in stimulating activities that fostered lasting memories.

Nu Skin’s commitment to empowering individuals and communities shone through the resounding success of the 20th Anniversary of Force For Good Day. By collaborating with local partners and engaging in hands-on service projects, Nu Skin aspires to create a brighter future for communities both locally and globally. The company’s dedication to giving back and making a meaningful difference continues to inspire and uplift those in need.
