SEREMBAN, August 7 ― Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called upon the people of Negeri Sembilan to extend their full support to candidates representing the unity government parties in the state elections scheduled for August 12. Anwar emphasized that backing these candidates through the polls will further solidify and strengthen the unity government both at the federal level and within Negeri Sembilan.

Speaking at the Paroi constituency Jelajah Perpaduan ceramah in Taman Tuanku Jaafar, Anwar expressed his hope for change and highlighted the importance of supporting the Paroi candidate, Norwani Ahmat, whose victory would bolster the unity government in the state. Additionally, Anwar reiterated his commitment to eradicating hardcore poverty among all races this year, involving approximately 136,000 families. He emphasized that this effort would mobilize the entire government machinery, including ministries, agencies, and unity government party members, to achieve the goal of uplifting those in need.
