KUALA LUMPUR, August 17 – Kuala Lumpur, known for its hardworking population, ranks third among the most overworked cities globally, according to an annual study. As a nation of hardworking individuals, Malaysia also faces a widespread incidence of pain, with 85% of the population experiencing it. Body pain, in particular, is a prevalent issue among Malaysians, often attributed to lifestyle habits such as stress-induced tension, sedentary routines, and incorrect posture.

In response to the prevalence of pain and its impact on the daily lives of Malaysians, Panadol has introduced its latest range of body pain relief products – the Panaflex Patch, offering effective and fast-acting pain solutions. Bryan Wong, General Manager of Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei (MSB) at Haleon, said, At Panadol, we recognize that persistent pain can hinder productivity and significantly affect an individual’s quality of life.

As leaders in the pain relief category, we aim to go beyond and expand our range of pain relief products to cater to the diverse and evolving needs of our valued consumers. Our vision is to provide freedom from pain, so the human spirit can shine. In conjunction with the new product launch, Panadol is celebrating hardworking Malaysians ahead of Merdeka, honoring their relentless efforts and sacrifices. The launch campaign kicks off on 21 July, with the first event held at the Main Concourse Pavilion Bukit Jalil from 10 am to 10 pm.

Visitors can learn more about body pains and management remedies at the event. Subsequently, a three-month social campaign featuring key opinion leaders will continue advocating for better pain management, empowering Malaysians to take control of their everyday pain
