
GEORGE TOWN, August 24 – In a significant stride toward youth empowerment and education, the Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) has joined forces with Dell Technologies to unveil the “Develop with Dell” program. The program’s launch, hosted at Dell’s SWTC site in Penang, brought together representatives from PYDC, Dell, as well as higher learning institutions and high schools in Penang. The primary objective of the “Develop with Dell” program is to equip university and college students in Penang with essential IT, digital, and soft skills.
Encompassing client technologies, enterprise foundations, and career readiness, among others. Participants will gain access to a specialized curriculum built upon comprehensive training modules that Dell has meticulously developed over the years for its partners and customers. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of achievement jointly issued by Dell Education Services and PYDC. Dr. Gwee Sai Ling, General Manager of Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC), lauded the collaboration, stating, “Our mission at PYDC is to educate, develop, and empower young people in Penang through a holistic approach.

Dell is leveraging its IT industry expertise to enrich the program’s curriculum, covering technical foundations, hardware troubleshooting, and handling service requests.
