KUALA LUMPUR, August 26 – FedEx Express, a global leader in express transportation, has been honored with the prestigious ‘Sustainability and CSR Malaysia Awards 2023’ in the category of ‘Best in Community Engagement Support.’ This marks the third consecutive time FedEx has received this esteemed award. FedEx was recognized for its outstanding efforts in nurturing young talent and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset through the FedEx Express/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (FedEx/JA ITC), benefiting over 8,600 students to date in Malaysia.
The company was also acknowledged for its sustainability initiatives, collaborating with Treat Every Environment Special (TrEES) and the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) to rebuild a perimeter wall using sustainable recycled materials. These initiatives are part of FedEx Cares, the company’s global community engagement program aimed at creating a better world. Tien Long Woon, Managing Director of FedEx Express Malaysia, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “We are grateful to be able to use our logistics network and tap the passion of our team members to positively impact local communities in Malaysia.
