The titanium design is further accentuated by contoured edges and a customizable Action button, allowing users to tailor their iPhone experience to their preferences. At the core of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max lies the groundbreaking A17 Pro chip, the industry’s first 3-nanometer chip. This chip brings significant improvements across the board. The CPU is up to 10 percent faster with microarchitectural enhancements, and the Neural Engine is now twice as fast, fueling features like autocorrect and Personal Voice in iOS 17. The GPU, featuring a new 6-core design, is 20 percent faster and introduces hardware-accelerated ray tracing, delivering smoother graphics and more immersive AR experiences.
The iPhone 15 Pro lineup redefines photography and videography capabilities with the equivalent of seven pro lenses, all powered by A17 Pro. The 48MP Main camera system, exclusive to the Pro models, offers a new 24MP super-high-resolution default, providing remarkable image quality at a practical file size. Users can switch between three popular focal lengths, and even select one as the default. The 48MP Main camera supports ProRAW and HEIF images with 4x more resolution. The 3x Telephoto camera on the iPhone 15 Pro and the 5x Telephoto camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max provide unparalleled optical zoom capabilities.
The latter boasts an innovative tetraprism design with a combined optical image stabilization and autofocus 3D sensor-shift module, Apple’s most advanced stabilization system to date. Roadside Assistance via satellite, initially available in the U.S., connects users to AAA when they encounter car trouble in areas with no cellular or Wi-Fi coverage. These devices use more recycled content, feature 100 percent recycled aluminum substructures, and contain 100 percent recycled cobalt in the battery. They also incorporate 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets and 100 percent recycled gold in the USB‑C connector. The packaging is fiber-based, moving closer to Apple’s goal of eliminating plastic from packaging by 2025. Additionally, Apple is phasing out the use of leather in its products.
Instead, it introduces the FineWoven Case with MagSafe and FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe, made from a microtwill material with a soft, suede-like feel, containing 68 percent post-consumer recycled content.
