GENTING HIGHLANDS, September 14 – As September rolls in, Resorts World Genting transforms into a vibrant stage for entertainment and celebration under the night sky. The return of Starlight Festival, an adored open-air carnival featuring stunning lights, delectable cuisine, and captivating music and performances, promises to infuse your weekends with excitement. Madison Square, the epicenter of action, will host Starlight Festival 2023 for an exhilarating four weeks. From September 14th to October 7th, every Thursday through Saturday, from 6 pm to midnight, the square will come alive with festivities.
As you walk along Gohtong Way, you’ll be drawn to the massive LED-lit star-shaped entrance to Madison Square. As night descends and the air turns cool, the grand marquee transforms into a tavern-inspired wonderland, bathed in a breathtaking kaleidoscope of colors. Surrender to the infectious beats and lively spirit of the festival beneath a starry sky as live music and entertainment steal the show. As you unwind, savor frothy Danish beer. The menu features hearty Bavarian-style treats like crispy pork knuckle, onion rings, and grilled German sausages.
Starlight Festival 2023 boasts an exceptional lineup of musical acts throughout the event. The first week (September 14-16) kicks off with Raymond Ng and party band, Alan S. and Lenny on September 14. Kenny Low and Elva will grace the stage with the Best of Cantopop, supported by Alan S. & Lenny on September 15. Alan & Min will take the stage on September 16, accompanied by DJ Felix and MC Richard. Week 2 (September 21-23) sees Winnie Goh and Lyee Cheok starting things off, supported by Kelson Ng & Min from September 21 to 23.
Alex and Daniel will rock the stage with the Best of Wubai on September 22 and Best of Mayday on September 23, accompanied by DJ Felix and MC LadyAnna from September 21 to 22 and DJ LadyAnna and MC Milli on September 23. Starlight presents Beyond Tribute in Week 3 (September 28-30) with headlining acts, Sharon Wong on September 28 and Beyond Tribute by Kai on September 29 and 30, supported by party band, Alan S. & Lenny, together with DJ LadyAnna and MC Milli.
The festivities wrap up in Week 4 (October 5-7) with headlining acts Ena Hon and Boon Ong on October 5 and FABBA and Beatlemania on October 6 and 7. Supporting acts include Justin & Lenny and Justin & Min from October 5 to 7, with music by DJs Reeve, Wasabi, Maq, Amber Na, and Jenna. Starlight Festival 2023 is a free admission event, with Madison Square festivities restricted to non-Muslims aged 21 and above. Guests can enter Madison Square via SkyAvenue Gateway or the Arena of Stars escalator from 6 pm on festival days.
