PUTRAJAYA, January 18 — MyDigital ID has recorded about 8.7 million users to date and is targeting 15 million registrations this year as it accelerates nationwide adoption of the national digital identity, said deputy chief executive officer Rita Irina Abd Wahab.

She said the growth is driven by integration with more than 80 government and private-sector applications, with the platform now logging over 400,000 weekly accesses, while new promotional efforts — including collaborations with e-hailing drivers.

Aim to raise public awareness and position MyDigital ID as a daily digital gateway offering secure single sign-on access to online services without replacing the MyKad.
