PUTRAJAYA, Aug 19 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak told the reporters about the Malaysia is not a failed Country such as an allegations disseminated as widely valuation framework put this country in a superior position. While admitting that the government is not perfect but he stressed that Malaysia does not qualify to be called a failed state based on the government’s commitment to maintain the objective of maqasid sharia in the administration.

“The label and stigma was deliberately created by some interested media seems to want to name Malaysia exacerbated by impunity. In the same time, I seek refuge from Allah SWT ripple of attitude and pride that we are the best nation. We are not perfect and in front of young children, I dare say that we are not a perfect government,” said Najib.

“In fact, I also realize, if I do not fight for a new handle norms which required the younger generation. I can also fail to lead, but I must also stress that Malaysia is not a failed state,” he said while he was delivering a keynote address entitled “Wasatiyyah As Manhaj Youth Today” at the International Seminar 2015 Wasatiyyah Islam and Youth: Challenges and Hopes Wasatiyyah organized by the Institute of Malaysia (IWM) at the National Institute of Valuation (INSPEN) near here, Tuesday.

“About 300 participants which including students of the Public University (UA) were took part in the seminar. In addition to keeping the Islamic maqasid goals such as preserving religion, life, intellect, lineage and property possession, Malaysia also not be considered a failed state because an independent study showed that the state topped the ‘The Global Islamic Economy Indicator (GIEI 2014-2015) from 70 Islamic countries,” he said.

 “The study also concluded Malaysia led with a wide margin in terms of economic valuation of ecosystem Islam in Muslim countries where the economy is said to be the most mature, while Islamic finance is also far ahead of other countries. Do we have a failed state where Malaysia almost topped in many valuation framework like The Global Competitiveness Report and the World Bank Report of Doing Business?” about Najib who is Finance Minister,” said the prime minister.

Accordingly, the prime minister hopes the younger generation not simply be the bearer of news the country is heading the way of the so-called retrograde, whether from political or economic perspective. He also regretted that there are young people seemed to have more confidence in the propaganda and bad label that may only be injected by the enemies of Islam mainly through social media.

“As leader, he is always willing to listen and sympathize and even the younger generation never closed any space to be criticized and refuted. Therefore, I hoped that the next generation may be be fair in making any evaluation and rebuttal. Contrary to the view is common but what is important is not in the interests of national security pledged political short,” he said.

“Meanwhile, I would like to advised the younger generation to take a stand ‘balanced’ consistent intent and purpose Wasatiyyah in protest of government and management. Which is not good, reasonably refuted and rebuked however, if there are good aspects that made the government, nor ashamed to lift it as a good thing,” he added.

In the same time, Najib also launched four books including the latest IWM ‘Establishing Wasatiyyah’ his own writings on the function. The Prime Minister also presented their credentials to the representative of the UA for the establishment of five Wasatiyyah Club in the center of their studies.
