KUALA KUBU BAHRU, April 29 – Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Pang Sock Tao has announced plans to unveil PH’s manifesto for the Kuala Kubu Baru (KKB) by-election next week. Pang, former press secretary of Housing and Local Government Minister, expressed determination to ensure the community is well-informed about their offers. She acknowledged the challenge posed by the late incumbent Lee Kee Hiong’s active community engagement but emphasized her commitment to maintaining momentum and fostering good relations with village leaders and councillors.

Pang, confident in her reception among Malay voters, highlighted the positive response she has received during her campaign in Malay areas around Batang Kali. Despite being labeled as a ‘non-local’ candidate, Pang stressed her familiarity with KKB and expressed determination to attract outside voters to participate in the upcoming election. The KKB by-election, scheduled for May 11, follows the passing of incumbent Lee due to cancer, with Pang facing opposition from three challengers representing Perikatan Nasional (PN), Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM), and an Independent candidate.
