KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 – Intel’s highly anticipated client processors, codenamed Lunar Lake, are scheduled to debut in the third quarter of 2024, just in time for the holiday season. These processors will power over 80 new laptop designs from more than 20 original equipment manufacturers, ushering in a new era of AI performance for Copilot+ PCs on a global scale. Lunar Lake processors will receive free updates to Copilot+ experiences, ensuring users have access to the latest features like Recall when they become available.

Michelle Johnston Holthaus, Intel’s executive vice president and general manager of the Client Computing Group, highlighted the significance of Lunar Lake and Copilot+, stating, “With breakthrough power efficiency, the trusted compatibility of x86 architecture, and the industry’s deepest catalog of software enablement, we will deliver the most competitive joint client hardware and software offering in our history with Lunar Lake and Copilot+.”

Lunar Lake processors are expected to deliver more than three times the AI performance compared to the previous generation, making significant strides in security, battery life, and overall performance.
