KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 – The 18th Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2024 and National Security Asia (NATSEC Asia) 2024 exhibitions concluded yesterday at the Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, marking a historic milestone for premier defence and security showcases worldwide. With a record-breaking participation of 1,324 companies from 60 countries and 588 foreign VVIP delegations from 45 nations, the events witnessed unprecedented success, fostering strategic partnerships and facilitating business deals totaling RM9.4 billion.

Reflecting on the success of DSA 2024 and NATSEC Asia 2024, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Defence, highlighted their economic impact and role in enhancing collaborative defence capabilities on a global scale. Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, Minister of Home Affairs, commended NATSEC Asia’s growth, emphasizing its significance in advancing regional security frameworks. The exhibitions also hosted insightful forums and seminars, addressing critical issues such as cybercrime and good governance, underscoring their role beyond defence-related exhibitions in fostering international cooperation and economic growth.
