KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 – Our former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir and wife Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd. Ali had arrives and joined Bersih 4 rally on 7:30pm at Dataran Merdeka. He was sending a jolt of excitement through the crowd gathered at the Dataran Merdeka and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) intersection.
Tun M’s presence attracted a large number of Bersih 4.0 rally participants gathered at the intersection of Jalan Tun Perak facing City Hall with wearing a gray bush coat, was escorted by PKR vice-president Tian Chua and the former premier’s bodyguards. Tian Chua was one of Mahathir’s biggest critics when his administration clamped down on the Reformasi protest following the sacking of Anwar Ibrahim in 1998.
