KUALA LUMPUR, January 22 – AirAsia has once again demonstrated its popularity, securing the Platinum award in the Transportation, Travel, and Tourism category at the 2023 Putra Brand Awards. This recognition reflects the airline’s status as the people’s choice, surpassing notable competitors in the industry. The Platinum award was determined through a consumer preference survey that garnered over 11,000 responses from consumers across Peninsular and East Malaysia, spanning 24 different product and service categories.

Rudy Khaw, CEO of AirAsia brand co., expressed pride in being recognized as a catalyst for connecting communities, fostering economic growth, and enabling dreams to take flight. With close to 61 million guests flown by the end of 2023, Khaw extended gratitude to the loyal supporters motivating the airline to enhance its services. He emphasized the importance of constant evolution to stay relevant in the dynamic and competitive aviation industry, acknowledging that a strong brand reflects values and connects millions of guests.
