BERLIN, GERMANY, March 13 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim engaged in constructive discussions with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz today in Berlin, aiming to bolster bilateral and business relations between Malaysia and Germany. Anwar’s meeting with Scholz, held at the Federal Chancellery, emphasized Malaysia’s commitment to enhancing ties with Germany across various sectors.

Accompanied by a delegation including Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and other key officials, Anwar explored avenues for cooperation in economic, educational, environmental, and trade domains, reflecting the multifaceted nature of Malaysia-Germany relations. The leaders also exchanged views on global issues such as the humanitarian crisis in Palestine, underscoring their shared commitment to addressing pressing international concerns.
