KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 – SSF Home Group Berhad (“SSF” or the “Group”), a premier retailer specializing in furniture, home décor, and home living products, has disclosed its financial performance for the third quarter of the financial year 2024 (“Q3 FY2024”). The Group reported an impressive revenue of RM37.7 million, marking a significant 20.4% surge from RM31.3 million in the immediate corresponding quarter (“Q2 FY2024”), attributed to heightened sales activities during pivotal seasonal periods like Christmas and Chinese New Year.

During Q3 FY2024, SSF achieved a noteworthy Profit After Tax (“PAT”) of RM2.0 million, signifying a substantial turnaround from a Loss After Tax (“LAT”) of RM3.6 million in Q2 FY2024, primarily due to increased revenue and the absence of one-off listing expenses incurred in the previous quarter. Mr. Lok Kok Khong, Executive Director of SSF Home Group Berhad, expressed contentment with the Group’s resilient performance amidst global economic challenges, emphasizing SSF’s strategic adaptability and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Looking ahead, Mr. Lok remains cautiously optimistic, citing Malaysia’s anticipated 4.5% economic growth for 2024 and the Group’s strategic expansion with the upcoming opening of three additional retail outlets in the fourth quarter of FY2024. As of 26 March 2024, 5:00 P.M., SSF’s share price concluded at RM0.28 with a market capitalization of RM224.0 million.
