KUANTAN, April 13 — Following the joyous celebration of Aidilfitri, marking the culmination of Ramadan, Muslims, particularly those in Pahang, are urged to persist in performing prayers, good deeds, and charitable activities. The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, emphasized the importance of sustaining the momentum of spiritual practices and acts of kindness beyond the holy month. He stressed that the devotion exhibited during Ramadan should serve as a foundation for continued religious obligations and benevolent actions in the months ahead.

Addressing attendees at Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house, held at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, the Sultan underscored the significance of ongoing prayers, fasting, mosque visits, and Quran recitations. He also reminded himself and his family to remain steadfast in fulfilling religious duties. Accompanied by Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

The Sultan extended the spirit of unity by entertaining approximately 10,000 guests with songs during the event. The hosting of open house functions, such as this, not only strengthens unity among diverse attendees but also fosters camaraderie among different political factions, remarked the Menteri Besar, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to reinforce harmony among guests from various backgrounds.
